india crush england by 7 wickets in 3rd odi and leads the series 2-1

The indians are back on track as they crush the englishmen by 7 wickets in the 3rd odi held here in ranchi.The match was the first ever international match player on the stadium,before the matches in ranchi were held in jamshedpur.The home side dominated the match right from the beginning,in conditions favorable for the batsmen the english batsmen struggled to get a move on.There were no significant partnerships in the innings,joe root provided some spark but was not enough.

THE PRESSURE ON BOWLERS

The english bowlers had too much to do on a pitch suiting the batsmen.They snapped rahane for a duck who was unable to read a delivery which was coming back into im from the lanky speedster steven finn.But the dismissal of rahane did not prove any good as the next batsman kohli turned it on the english bowlers with some magnificient strokes.He along with gambhir took the game away from england as they put on a strokefull partnership of 67 until gambhir got out being ambitous and trying to hit over midon against the spin was taken by young and alert root.England hoped that the wicket would pressurise india but the next man yuvraj played a cameo to ensure that england didnt come back into the game,he also had some luck in the intial phase of his innings which he inside edged a good length and hit the boot and bounced away a whisker away from the stumps.After that it was all india as the duo put up 66 run stand.Just as india was smelling victory just 12 runs away yuvraj fell to a brilliant ball from tredwell who loved taking wickets of left handers.But it was all too late.Dhoni finished it in great style the short delivery from Finn was buldozed to the square leg fence like a bullet to trigger the roar from the home crowd as they witnessed their home town boy finish it in style.The bowlers were the key in india emphatic win as dhoni said "I think the bowlers did the job of us. Once the seamers were off, the spinners contributed well"
